A Generation Xer's caregiving journey

Can I see clearly now? Not quite…

The first step in caring for the caregiver is to make sure they see clearly.

The last time I went to the optometrist was a year before my Mom passed, so I was way overdue for my checkup by over 5 years!

Thanks to Groupon (aff link), I was finally able to do so.

Of course, after I received my glasses, the lenses seemed a bit slanted. I thought that since I took a big jump in the lens prescription, I had to get used to it, but after a week, I still felt mildly uncomfortable. So I went back and spoke up and the optometrist adjusted the lenses.

What are you doing for yourself that will ultimately help you in the long run?
