Being Beautifully Different by celebrating Hanukkah #reverb10

I am reflecting on this year & manifesting what’s next. Join me and 2,000 bloggers, tweeters, tumblers, etc. at reverb10.com to share your story.

December 8 – Beautifully Different. Think about what makes you different and what you do that lights people up. Reflect on all the things that make you different – you’ll find they’re what make you beautiful. (Author: Karen Walrond)

If you ask Grandma what we are, she’ll proudly say that we are “culturally Jewish”. The family has been in Brooklyn since the 30’s and we have lived, worked and eaten almost everything Jewish.

Both Gram and myself have received unexpected gifts during Hanukkah for which we are grateful. At this realization, she decided to get out a menorah(unlit of course, I didn’t want any accidents) and proudly display it.

We may not be Jewish by birth, but we have joined in celebrating the season of miracles.
