The Memory Game

The Memory Game

The Memory Game - Caregiver and caree go over memories in photo album

Back in the day, Nana would play “The Memory Game” with me.

Granted, I don’t remember what specific memory game it was, I do remember winning almost every time. Now most of these games are now referred to as matching games.

Now, we still play the game, but with different tools. I ask her to remember what she wants me to get from the store.

Now, I use a journal, Evernote, and coupons to match to sale circulars.

Do you use some version of “The Matching Game” to keep your senior’s memory sharp?  Do you use this game or another game you played with as a kid? Let us know in the comments.
